We work backward from the HOA window. Cut and demo only in quiet hours, hand-tape on a slower rhythm during off-hours, and stage the loud work (mud sanding) for the daylight window the HOA allows. We send the HOA the work-window plan before we show up.

Could the popcorn ceiling in our older south Chula Vista home contain asbestos?

Yes. Master-planned developers (Eastlake, Otay Ranch, Sunbow) used specific spray-on orange peel patterns by builder. We test-spray a patch panel, adjust nozzle and dilution until the rhythm matches, then apply. Per GA-216, the patch is not done until it disappears under daylight from three angles.
